    Viola Rosella Duke (Sowers), 88, of Apache Junction, Arizona,passed away June 12, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on June 26, 1930 in Wagoner, Oklahoma, to John Sylbester Sowers and Lilly Alice (Seaman). As a child, Viola enjoyed singing in her church’s choir and playing hoop and stick game. As Viola grew, so did her hobbies. She loved gardening, collecting rocks, and making quilts. On her 18th birthday in 1948, she married the love of her life, Benny Willard Duke.     Franklin Eldridge Crabtree, 70, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away June 8, 2019.  He was born on July 4, 1948 in Long Branch, New Jersey, to Francis and Helen Crabtree.  Franklin grew up in Wanamassa, New Jersey and attended Ocean Township High School, where he was part of the first graduating class, in 1967.  Boy Scout Troop Leader and Organizer and Order of the Arrow were a couple of Franklin’s achievements in his youth years.     Charles (Chuck) Edward Reeves, 77 of Mesa Arizona Passed away peacefully Friday, June 21st 2019 Chuck was born Chicago Illinois. Chuck was an avid gardener, carpenter and loved solving puzzles. He also loved traveling with his wife to visit their children and having fun. Chuck retired after a long and dedicated career as an analyst with the Arizona state Welfare Department. Gehret Jr., 86, formerly of Reading went to be with the Lord on Friday the 14th of June, 2019 in Scottsdale Osborne Memorial Hospital.  He is survived by his loving wife, Joan (Reichert) Gehret of 65 years.  Born in Morgantown he is the son of the late Leonard Gehret. Lenny served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. John was born April 19, 1939, in Winthrop, Massachusetts, to John F. and Catherine L. (Manning) Lane. He attended Winthrop High School in Winthrop, Massachusetts and continued his education at Boston College, graduating in 1961 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.     Jerome (Jerry) Dean Brown of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed on June 23, 2019, after a long battle with prostate cancer.  He was born on January 16, 1940, in Fairbury, Nebraska, to Glen and Ella Haake Brown.  The family lived on a farm near Daykin, Nebraska, and then moved to Des Moines, Iowa, where Glen worked as a stone cutter.  The family moved back to the farm and Jerry attended school until he graduated from Daykin High School in 1958.  He enjoyed sports and excelled in basketball.  For a couple of years he and his two brothers were three of the team’s starting five lineup.     Rick Allen Crawford, 54, of Mesa, Arizona passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. Rick was born June 11, 1965 in Mitchell, South Dakota. He attended Rock Cut Elementary School and Harlem High School in his hometown of Rockford, Illinois. In Rockford, Rick graduated from Carpet Tech School, starting what would become a lifelong career.
