Charles (Chuck) William Horton, 35, passed away on January 18th, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family in Tucson, Arizona.
Charles was born on August 11th, 1985 in Kansas City, Kansas to Robin and Brenda Howard. He moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1989 to live with his Uncle (Larry) and Aunt (Barbara) Horton, who later adopted him in 1992.
Charles grew up in Tucson, Arizona. He graduated from Amphitheater High School, Tucson, Arizona in 2004 where he played football and enjoyed spending time with many close friends.
After high school Charles spent time working for the family business, attending school at Pima Community College, and eventually finding his way to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. It was during this time that he met Tiffany, they immediately fell in love and knew they were meant for each other. Charles and Tiffany were married on March 21st, 2009 in Oro Valley, Arizona. The following May they welcomed their son Hunter into the world and two years later they welcomed their daughter Hannah into the world in April of 2012. It was shortly after the birth of Hannah that Charles was first diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He bravely battled ups and downs of his cancer diagnosis with strength and optimism. As his disease progressed Charles remained optimistic and a committed husband and father. He looked for ways to make lasting memories with his family and his spirit brought a light to all who were around him. His life has left a lasting impression on so many and his vibrant spirit will be greatly missed.

Charles is survived by his wife, Tiffany Horton of Tucson, AZ; his son, Hunter Horton; daughter, Hannah Horton; his mother, Barbara Horton of Tucson, AZ; his biological mother, Brenda Howard of Kansas City, KS; his biological father, Robin Howard of Kansas City, KS. his brother, Lee (Christina) Horton of Tucson, AZ; his sister, Jennifer (Stuart) August of Tucson, AZ; His brother, Shaun Howard of Kansas City, KS; Charles loved his many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 No public service will be held. A celebration of life will be held in Tucson, AZ at a later date.
